In addition to donating 1% of our revenue to environmental organizations through 1% for the planet, we are now formally giving 1% of our revenue to organizations that work tirelessly to improve people's lives!
Marginalized communities in Oregon and beyond are socially and legislatively under attack. One thing we can do to help is give organizations on the ground the financial support they need to make an impact.
In 2022, we started The Straightaway Community Spirit Program. Through this program, all Straightaway and Accompani employees are given 2 paid volunteer days and a monetary donation to the non-profit volunteer partner.
This year the team spent a day at Sunflower Farm which works to alleviate hunger and food insecurity for children in Portand.
Last year we introduced "Cocktail for a Cause" where each month, we donated a portion of proceeds from one of our cocktails sold at our Portland tasting rooms to a non-profit organization.
This year we'll donate quarterly to one of these four organizations as well as coordinating our volunteer efforts through our community spirit program.
